AI Rewrite is an AI writing assistant that uses Apple Intelligence for on-device text processing. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Data We Do NOT Collect Privacy First

• Your Text: All text you enter is processed entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence. It is never sent to our servers or any third party.
• Usage Analytics: We do not track how you use the app.
• Device Information: We do not collect device identifiers or hardware information.
• Location Data: We do not access or store your location.
• Contacts or Personal Data: We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal data.

Data We May Collect

• Apple ID (Optional): If you choose to sign in with Apple for a Pro subscription, we receive an anonymized user identifier from Apple. This is used solely to manage your subscription across devices.
• Purchase Information: Subscription purchases are processed and stored by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details.

How Apple Intelligence Works

AI Rewrite uses Apple's Foundation Models framework, which runs entirely on your device. This means:

• Text processing happens locally on your iPhone or iPad
• No internet connection is required for AI features
• Your words never leave your device
• Apple does not have access to your text either

Third-Party Services

AI Rewrite does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service we use is:

• Apple App Store: For processing subscriptions and managing purchases
• Sign in with Apple: For optional account authentication

Data Storage

Your history of improved texts is stored locally on your device. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not backed up to any cloud service by AI Rewrite
• Can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account at any time. To delete your account:

• Open AI Rewrite and go to Settings
• In the Account section, tap "Delete Account"
• Confirm your decision in the dialog that appears

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Apple ID Association: Your Sign in with Apple credentials are removed from the app
• Writing History: All your saved text improvements are deleted
• Local User Data: Any cached user information is cleared

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting your account immediately and completely removes all traces of your usage.

Children's Privacy

AI Rewrite does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
