Terms of Use

End User License Agreement (EULA) · Effective date: May 31, 2026

In plain English

These Terms are the agreement between you and the developer of NetRadar ("we", "us") for using the app. In short: NetRadar is provided as is for diagnosing networks you own or are authorized to test, you use it at your own risk and responsibility, and any purchases are handled by Apple. By downloading or using NetRadar, you accept these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of NetRadar (the "App") on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own lawful use, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service and these Terms. This is a license, not a sale — we retain all ownership of the App.

2. Authorized use only

NetRadar is a network diagnostic and security tool. You may only use it to scan, probe, or analyze networks and devices that you own or are explicitly authorized to test.

Port scanning, service enumeration, vulnerability (CVE) cross-referencing, packet capture, and similar activities against networks, systems, or devices you do not own or have permission to assess may be illegal in your country, state, or region. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of NetRadar is lawful and authorized. We do not log, receive, or monitor what you scan, and we cannot and do not authorize any particular target on your behalf.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to, and not to allow others to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized purpose, including unauthorized access to or disruption of any network, system, or device;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, rent, or lease the App;
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices; or
  • Use the App in any way that violates the Apple App Store Terms of Service or applicable law.

4. Purchases & subscriptions

NetRadar may offer optional in-app purchases or a Pro upgrade. All purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and are subject to Apple's terms. Prices, availability, and features may change. Where a purchase is a subscription, it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies — we cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its name, logo, design, and all related content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding.

6. Privacy

NetRadar does not collect personal data. How the App handles data on your device is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

7. No warranty

NetRadar's results — including device discovery, security scores, CVE matches, the hidden-camera scan, and speed-test figures — are provided for informational purposes only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. For example, the hidden-camera scan can only find Wi-Fi–connected devices and cannot detect offline, cellular, or SD-card-only cameras. Do not rely on the App as a guarantee of safety or security. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your use of the App against networks or devices you are not authorized to test.

10. Third-party services

When you run certain tools, the App contacts public internet infrastructure you choose — such as DNS resolvers, WHOIS / RIR servers, and a speed-test measurement endpoint. Those services operate under their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Apple App Store terms

These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist-supporting," and that you are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.

12. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the App. On termination, you must stop using and delete the App. Sections that by their nature should survive (including warranty disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
